Quick Start
Install SafeGuard
Download the plugin ZIP from your account dashboard and upload it via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in WordPress admin. Requires PHP 7.4+ and WordPress 5.8+.
Activate & Enter License
Activate the plugin and navigate to SafeGuard → Settings. Enter your license key in the format SG-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Configure Storage
Connect at least one storage provider (Amazon S3, Dropbox, Google Drive, SFTP, or any of 20 supported providers).
Run Your First Backup
Go to SafeGuard → Backups and click Run Backup. Your first full backup completes in under a minute.
Set Up a Schedule
Configure automated backups under SafeGuard → Schedules. We recommend daily incremental backups with 30-day retention.
